Environmental Development Projects and Activities

Environmental Development

  • Mangrove Planting Activities

To foster collaboration among various sectors for mangrove reforestation projects, we tasked our CSR Working Group with organizing a mangrove planting activity. This initiative was intended to bring together the local community and our project management team. However, due to the challenging accessibility and potential safety risks for volunteers at the designated planting site for 2024, the activity plan is currently under review.

Our CSR Working Group initially planned a mangrove planting activity with the community and project management team. However, due to the challenging accessibility and safety risks for volunteers at the designated 2024 planting site, the committee decided to pivot.

However, due to the challenging accessibility and safety risks for volunteers at the designated 2024 planting site, the committee decided to pivot. Instead, we're now focusing on an environmental initiative with Wat Sri Khongkaram School, a coastal school facing significant waste management issues during high and low tides. We're providing the school with training on waste segregation and setting up a waste bank. This ties into our "Ditto for Smiles" project, where we'll be renovating the area behind the school's kitchen. We've coordinated with our contractors to design a waste-sorting grate and will bring in expert speakers for workshops with both students and the community.
